After an action-packed day, we returned to the houseboat for another delicious dinner and an evening of relaxation. The monsoon rains had intensified, but we didn’t mind as we cuddled up on the deck, watching the rain and enjoying each other’s company.
The next day, as we approached Alappuzha, we realized that our monsoon experience in a Kerala houseboat had come to an end. But the memories of the serene backwaters, the delicious food, and the romantic ambiance will stay with us forever.
